What type of guitar should i get?

I would say an epiphone les paul or a fender stratocaster. I have both. However if you buy an electric guitar you will have to buy an amp if you dont have one. Might i suggest a line 6 spider III. It has about 6 effects and it also has four ssettings. Clean, metal, crunch and insane. A cheap-ish �130 or about $170-$230.
