I am getting a 600 watt amp, with 2 12inch kicker comps(already have) do i need a new altinator?

The comp 12's are 150 rms apiece, giving you 300 rms together. RMS are what you listen to constately, never go by peak watts. With that said you need to match the the rms of the subs to the rms of the amp. I would really suggest the Kicker ZX 300.1 mono amp a href="http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6750_Kicker+ZX300.1.html" rel="nofollow"http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6750…/a that would go perfect with those subs. And you don't need a altenator to go with that system. Good luck.
