How can a college student make around 5k quickly? Or purchase a car with no job or co signer. im desperate!?

I'm a college student looking to buy a car. I have no job because public transportation and cles leave me with no extra time. My parents can't pay for the down payment because of financial issues and a pretty big downpayment would be necessary to keep the monthly statements low enough for us to afford. I also need a relatively reliable car because I have to travel from college back home often which is a 6 to 7 hour drive. I considered a loan but no bank will finance it because I have no job! PLEASE, any ideas?!
